A memoir. Not a long, detailed, convoluted narrative of every incident, every twist and turn, every cause and effect. Rather, short flash-backs; snap-shots; events that remain vivid; together weaving a tapestry that made no sense—until much later. And then something really beautiful emerged.
Looking back, my life was worth living. It is also worth sharing.
We live through such a vast spectrum of events, experiences, and
emotions in our short time on Earth. In many ways we identify with others and others with us. If they have navigated it well and learnt something, we could draw hope from them, and gain a higher perspective. Maybe my life is here to encourage your life.
A journey implies chronological order and sense-making. A process has more
freedom, using this part and that element, and what about adding that feature? It’s the difference between linear, logical, sequential thinking, and non-linear, intuitive, imaginative thinking. Both kinds of thinking come to a conclusion… or a destination.
Non-linear thinking keeps one guessing much longer, which makes the eventual discovery so much more delightful.
